April 24th - Hermits Cave: Erving, MA. 4 mile moderate hike with great views.
Includes scenic overlook & the Hermits Cave with rock wall formations. Meet at the
Erving municipal parking lot in Erving center, Erving, MA.

June 19th - Doanes Falls & Tully Lake: A 4.5 mile moderate hike. See a beautiful
cascading waterfall, & scenic Tully Lake. Meet at Tully Lake Dam RT. 32 in Royalston,
MA.

July 10th - Quabbin Gate 40: An easy 8 mile hike. See historic Dana common and its
many foundations. Other points of interest include plane crash site & Indian kitchen.
Hike may be shortened depending on group interest and weather conditions such as
extreme heat. Meet at Athol High school 2363 Main St. Athol, MA.

September 18th - Athol's Bearsden: 6-8 mile moderate hike. Scenic vistas, views of
Millers River, and great wooded areas. Meet at the Athol High School 2363 Main St.
Athol, MA.

October 9th - 7th Annual Mt Wachusett hike & meeting: A moderate hike with great
views. Early foliage viewing. Discussion meeting at noon, picnic lunch & drinks provided
($3 donation for lunch). Meet at the visitor’s center for the Wachusett Mt. State
Reservation center. Entrance is 1/4 mile past ski area on right.

Some sections of the trail are very rocky with a few short steep sections on the easier route, please wear appropriate footwear.

☺ All hikes start at 9:30 A.M. Rain or Shine
☺ Bring appropriate hiking gear: such as sturdy boots, water, snacks, lunch, bug
spray, tissue, camera etc.
☺ Dress for the weather, time of year and type of hike
☺ Meeting to be held weather and time permitting
☺ Have fun!

Please adhere to the above requirements, especially for the longer or more strenuous hikes. These are not just suggestions.
